Good day all. I recently sold off a pair of Carolina Lineman's boots. The soles were very hard and I felt like I was walking on my tip toes. I did, however, love the leather liner and durable leather outer.

Now I am having a heck of a time replacing them with something that feels well made. I would appreciate any advice on a brand and model of boot that is soft toe, roundish toe, unlined or leather lined.

Thank you.

How about Allen Edmonds? Top quality boots made in the USA. Some models are pricey, but others more affordable. I have a pair of Long Branch boots, and after a two week break in period they are really comfortable, not to mention incredibly well made. If the Long Branch are too dressy, then there are other boots that are more rugged looking. Normandy or Sturgis 2.0, for example. They have some on sale right now, too!

Allen Edmonds are both great boots and shoes- as Tbone mentioned they are having a sale right now as well.

Although perhaps not as heavy duty as the Carolina Lineman boots, Wolverine 1000 Mile are stellar as well.

Never found one that fit my feet myself. Had some Allen Edmonds for a bit. They were good quality. Looked at the Wovlerine 1,000 mile, also looked great.
