I love this brush so much that I have not used it yet.  The knot is 30/56, and is a fan shape, which is somewhat unusual for me since I am a bulb fan.  However, I already have a Shavemac 2-band silvertip 28 mm knot in bulb and thought I'd go for something a tad different.  I have had it six weeks but cannot face the reality of schmutzing it up, but all new unused brushes must lose their virginity sometime (although losing it on my ugly kisser seems unfair to the unfortunate badger[s] that sacrificed themselves; thank God I am not a Buddhist).  But since I am about to take the plunge, I thought I would give it a coming out party - a kind of debu-brush event if you get my drift.  I may be optimistic, but I am hoping this is the last brush I ever buy.  In view of Paladin always being sold out and Florian [Wiborg] not answering my emails, it seems quite likely.

Thanks for listening.

That handle is really beautiful. My 2 band fan is my favorite brush, so I'd happily volunteer to take her virginity if you'd like :p

Congrats on the brush. You've held out longer than I ever could. Break that baby in.
