How did the wedge hone? Got my eye on one but heard they're a PITA to hone compared to a hollow.

Every razor is different, even of the same grind. I have wedges that are easy and wedges that are a PITA. I have full hollows that are easy and full hollows that are a PITA. Every razor is different in my admittedly limited experience. Usually, once you get the bevel set, you're fine for a while with just finishing retouches. The bevel setting is the part that can be a challenge...
