Muhle R41 Open Comb Rosegold Handle

I have the R41 2011 head.  I use an Astra or Personna. equals a great shave but not every day.

Why not everyday?

Still too much for my face everyday.

I use the Razorock Slab razor in between the R41.

Ok, I'm only one shave in, but, nice!! Because my last shave was a three pass shave with my other most aggressive DE to benchmark before using the R41, I did a three pass shave with the R41 to compare. But I didn't need to. My second pass with the R41 was already better than my third pass with my other open comb DE.

I used a Personna Red blade and Acca Kappa's 1869 shaving cream and aftershave. I got one very small weeper. My face feels AWESOME.

I'm loving this thing so far.

Thanks - it's so true, it did exceed my expectations.

Tonight, tonight I try it with a Feather blade. Lets see how this blade likes the 41 - and how the two play on my face!
