Doctor Strange of Wetshaving
Forio d'Ischia, Naples, Italy
A nice water-based cream, this Muehle “Sanddorn” Rasiercreme.
This is the simple list of ingredients: (INCI)
Aqua (Water), Potassium Stearate, Potassium Palmitate, Potassium Cocoate, Glycerin, Sodium Stearate, Sodium Palmitate, Sodium Cocoate,
Cera Alba (Beeswax), Potassium Myristate, Cetyl Palmitate, Hippophae Rhamnoides (Sea Buckthorn) Fruit Extract,
Sodium Myristate, Sodium Silicate, Sodium Thiosulfate, Parfum (Fragrance), Hexyl Cinnamal, Limonene, Linalool.
The same as Edwin Jagger (hard soap too), but this model is unique ... as Pomegranate for the english producer.
Other two models (Aloe Vera and Sandalwood) are actually identical.

I have had this free sample for some time.
Had free from Muehle with the purchase of a brush.
But frankly it never inspired me that much.
The cream is very soft, today the softest I've tried.
Practically more like a day face cream.

The Sanddorn / Sea Buckthorn fragrance is pleasant.
I didn't know, and it impressed me.
As well as the cosmetic properties of its oil, being rich in Vitamin C and Carotenoids it acts as:
• antioxidant
• anti-inflammation
• regenerating
• collagen preservative
• strengthening of the epidermis
• connective tissue stimulant
• wrinkle reducing
• anti-aging

The fragrance is fruity, and slightly floral and citric, sweetly complex.
Too bad it has the duration of a beat of wings, in fact at the end of shaving it was already gone.

If I lived in Germany, under the right commercial conditions, I would probably buy it.
But online in Italy, for 75ml of such a light product, it doesn't appeal to me.
I find the price very expensive.

I finished the small 3ml sachet today.
Actually two shaves, but very different.

At first I did not know the poor performance of the product.
Then I doubled the quantity (about 2ml), and therefore finished the sample.
The lather, and strangely also the fragrance, were much richer.
On the one hand, I'm glad that the performances can be good enough.
On the other hand, it makes the product even less interesting to me.
The yield is absolutely below my standard.

I like the Sea Buckthorn ASB. I'll have to try the cream sometime.
