The M1 is one I "need" to try.  Is it as smooth as a Timeless 0.68?
Very similar shave..... Good observation. The M1 SB for me is a ghost shave. So smooth. With a sharp blade, just a great shave. I would say the M1 by a whisker....

I don't keep track like many here, or even keep a neat and tidy daily journal. Still, I do know most of my shaves were with the Henson Ti Medium, using a Personna Comfort Coated blade.

Also, Stirling Glacial Post Shave Balm accompanied approximately 100% of the shaves (and was used as a preshave for a majority too).

The soaps I couldn't begin to tell which had heavier use. Heck, some used at the beginning don't even exist in my den any longer. There's probably a half dozen or so that got more use than others. I just don't know which is which.

Edit: To keep the extra posts down, I'll add my discoveries here:

In 2021 my biggest discovery would likely be Boar brushes. DecemBoar was a great time of learning what makes these tools so great. They'll likely be a permanent fixture in my den for years to come.

Thanks Eric MaineYooper for bringing this discovery to light. Also, thanks to Paul Stubble Daddy for thinking of this addition to the posts. Great idea!

2021 was a pretty wild year in the "hobby" for me. I purchased and tried a lot of different stuff. Maybe I'll dial it back a hair in 22'... or maybe I won't!

Going off memory here, but I'm pretty sure these are the items I used the most in 2021:

Razors; Yates, Timeless
Brushes: Trotter Handcrafts of course Wink ... but I also used my Brad Sears brushes a lot too
Soap: Tabac, McDuff's
Aftershaves: Floid, 4711, McDuff's

Greatest gear discoveries in 2021:

Tatara Nodachi Razor
McDuff's Soaps & Aftershaves
Kai DE Blades (re-discovery)

I like this part of Paul's post, and think it would be fun to read what others have as their Greatest Gear Discoveries in 2021

Mine would be:

boar brushes (after years of synthetic only, and only 5 months of a badger brush prior to that)
Type M and Type I injectors
various GEM razors

2021 will forever be known as the year I fell HARD into researching & acquiring Antique and Vintage Star, Ever Ready and Gem style razors as well as the obscure ones. Been a FUN year !!
