Ventastic, it’s very high on my wish list (the SSRH) along with the Karves. But I would still love to find a H1 plate to try out since it will work with my classic top cap. I’m sure someone will post one up eventually since they sold a lot of them until a few months ago.

I need to purchase the Windsor top cap for the SSRH to work as intended. I read the Windsor had a wider top cap and less blade exposure. I’m pretty sure the classic top cap will still work on the newer SSRH but will give it more blade exposure. Perhaps that less blade exposure is what makes the SSRH smoother then your H1? Assuming your using the classic cap on the H1 and Windsor on the SSRH.

After using it in the pass around recently, I'm going to suggest the Haircut & Shave Co. Ti 1.30. When used with a steep angle, I got very little blade feel, but the results were nearly identical to my Stirling ST.

I've been using the Wunderbar lately and I'm really impressed with the smoothness and efficiency. It now might be my number one in that category.

The SSRH is nice I have it also. Not familiar with the H1, but I do have the S2 OC 0.60 on the way along with the SB90 and ALMR Aluminum 0.40 which may be mild for me. We'll see.
