Something to keep in mind with any recommendations is that it is always YMMV. Usually you can find a large common ground however in what people are reporting. R41 is very efficient, and I can't even remember now if it was the 2013 or 2011 I tried. I noped out of that fast. Recent ones I've tried that were very efficient were the Hyper Aggressive Sterling Razor. It reminded me very much of the R41 but was more tolerable.

That's right the Sterling HA had a lot of blade feel. I think they'll be on the market soon too.

On efficient the only modern offering I can say fits that bill is the Rex Ambassador dialed in at about 3. It can also be very aggressive depending how much you open it up from there.
