Posting Freak
So what you're saying Pete123 is that its not a question of misunderstood products but rather the entire wet shaving space that is misunderstood? Its true that looking at it from the point of view of someone who is more or less "into it" we can fall prey to the illusion that everyone else must be as well. If I even raise the subject (which I don't very often) I get mostly a blank, slightly puzzled look. Not a look that encourages further discussion of the pros and cons of the Barrister's Reserve soap relative to earlier B&M soap. Nope, more like a thanks for sharing but if you ever bring that s**t up again I'm getting a restraining order kind of look. I figure f em, their loss. It would be interesting to do a survey of home country of DFS members. I'm assuming majority American but there are a remarkable diversity of people on the forum which I find to be a very good thing. Different perspectives can only serve to broaden one's own.

Is anybody ready to go through the entire Introduction Thread and tally up people's global locations?

I work hourly and I'll save money, it's just a long term pay out lol. Mean I have enough soaps for 4-5 years or more.
Non of my friends or anyone I know wet shaves. Two are interested but have yet to take the plung. Meanwhile it's cause me to go back to soap bars and try shampoo bars :o

Method shaving & its products. I'm not even sure if these products are still being made since Charles' passing. Still, he was a pretty misunderstood guy. Gotta love the passion he had though.

Well, to be fair, DFS is the only shaving forum you haven't been banned from, Señor Apellido. I for one, look forward to an AMA.

Very passionate and somehow intriguing to watch. His method is not for me, but I found it to be very interesting. I still watch his old videos from time to time.

What reasons was he banned from those other forums though? Other forums ban people for talking about the wrong brands of products so to me, that means nothing.

I have not been banned from all forums bub, hate to disappoint. I also think Jeff wasn't asking a question but proving a point brother.

Thanks again guys, it means a lot to us!

I loved Charles! If ever someone was misunderstood, it was him. Very tragic. Such a nice, sweet guy.
