EDIT: Ordered the Honeysuckle. Thanks again guys! (hint of undetectable sarcasm there, lol)

The only reason I went to his website today was to see if he was doing pre-orders for Lily of the Valley - something i've been doing now for a few months! Oh well, one of these days, it's gonna happen Big Grin

I think it's great. It may just be one run of this Wild Honeysuckle but it keeps things fresh and will be a fun addition.
It's actually a relief to see a nice soap, simply done, without a 6 scent description based in a rocky glen devoted to a red haired maiden.

I was notified on Twitter. Mike announces everything there and it comes right to the phone.

Jeff,  I did send Mike an email  about a month ago asking if he was going to increase his scent options on Maggard Razors site as new soaps were made.  I also asked him then about making Lilly of the Valley.  I don't have access to his response right now just that he rarely makes it.  So when MW had the sale even though Michelle was out of the old stock I picked up the new formula of her LOTV.  Have you tried both Mikes and MW to compare?

Same here! I check at least once a week. I figure since it is spring, a nice floral scent would be next on the list.

Ain't that the truth? As a matter of fact, I was on the reddit BST the other day and there was a post regarding the new Chiseled Face/Zoologist collaboration soap 'Civet'. The guy posted the description which I assume was taken from the vendor and it was one of the most ridiculous things I've ever read to describe the scent of a shaving soap. Funny to say the least. Seriously, who writes this stuff?

You actually got a response? I asked the same question via email about a month or two ago and he never replied. I have only used MW's version and it is spot on to the scent of the actual flower, very nice. I've wanted to get my hands on some of Mike's because it's such a great soap base and to see if the scent is comparable to MW. The wait continues I guess. I'm excited for the Honeysuckle though. It's another floral scent that I enjoy.

Yeah he responded within 3 or 4 days. I looked at his return message a little while ago. I asked if he makes Peppermint & Rosmary and LOTV regularly. He texted back that he makes P&M fairly regularly but almost never makes LOTV. I wonder why seems like I've seen a lot of interest for that scent.

Thanks for the tip. Ordered me some Wild Honeysuckle. Wanted Pine & Cedarwood too but checkout says it's out of stock even though I can add to cart.

I ordered the Honeysuckle. Even though I have more soap than I could possibly use and plenty of Mike's.

I have no idea really what to expect it smell like. I know it will perform great being a Mike's Natural Soap.

I chuckled reading this thread. The last several posts. I do find myself scratching my head sometimes too while reading scent descriptions. I guess I'm not as refined and experienced with odors and their nuances to appreciate all things like that. I just use new stuff and I either like it or I don't. If I like it and the wife does too that's awesome. I have two categories for scents. Like it. Not my thing...

I caved. Ordered the Wild Honeysuckle. Tried to get the tin but when it came time to pay it said it was out of stock. Went back and switched it to the bar only and it went through.

Both tins and bars sold out.
I jumped on a couple of tins. Who knows he may not make it again.
Safe bet on my favorite soap maker.
