Hello everyone,

I am at a bit of a dilemma.  I want to purchase a new
Martin de Candre shave soap, likely the Argumes or Original scent.  I am torn whether to purchase it in the glass jar or the wooden bowl (aka brain bowl).  My question is, does anyone know if the wooden bowl holds more product or is it still just 200g like the glass jar?  If that’s the case then it’s a no brainer to save the $ on the same amount of soap.  Any info would be appreciated as I haven’t been able to find a definitive answer yet.  Thanks in advance!

They changed over.  No longer glass jar.  Plastic.  Unless NOS.

I'd ask TommyCarioca He's the only one that I know of here that's been working off a BB. MountainBear is correct. It is a heavy plastic jar that is made from PETG plastic. As close to glass as you can get.

Pasteur carries both of those options and lists the bowl as 200g. I wonder if an inquiry with them could confirm that is still the case?

If you settle on the jar, I can give you a discount on Rose, Vetyver, Fougere, and Agrumes. I have way too many. Send a PM if interested!

Do all MdC wooden bowls have medallions or just some of them?
