I admit I like patchouli (having lived under a cloud of the stuff in Boulder during the hippie era), but my nose doesn't sense it in Heliopteris. I love the Heliopteris scent. I'm sporting it this morning. In fact, I ordered my third bottle about an hour ago (as well as his two new scents).

New scents? There are no new scents. Maybe new to you?

Laughed at your comment about patchouli though. I was in college during the same era and as a result despise patchouli. But...it is tolerable in small proportions to me in a scent...Never straight or as a dominant scent though..NEVER!

The two new scents are from Talbot, but are going to be used in the Maol aftershave formula. Check out Top of the Chain. I've got all six of his prior releases, and couldn't be happier with the stuff.

Indeed. Which is why I jumped on them. In fact, I'm thinking about creating another order to get one more of each...

I love pure patchouli bombs, like the EdTs from Giorgio Beverly Hills and Givenchy Gentleman. I tend not to wear them unless I'm by myself for an extended period.
