You’ll be shocked to know that I constantly smash my head on a couple low-hanging pipes in my lab. It was not made for dudes my size.

I had a great time, got to meet lots of vendors and people. Maggards did a great job and tons of killer gear there. Excited for next year

That is EXACTLY the problem. So many things are just above eye level, especially if you're concentrating on not spilling or dropping a vat of something or a big box of bottles or whatnot.

I am glad to know that. People like you, who make people like me feel like a Hobbit should suffer every once in a while Big Grin.

EDIT: that lamplight scent is out of the world. Really nicely done!

Thank you! I'm so excited about it, and not just because I've been working on it for well over a year. The fact that I'm not sick of it yet is probably a testament.

Also, really the only advantage to my height in a world where I don't have to be a hunter/gatherer is that the top shelf is always easily utilized. That's about it. And good luck finding pants in my size at the store.

Here's a cool video of the meet up and tour of the store posted by Michael Freedburg if anyone hasn't seen it yet.

I just say this: It's a DAMN good thing that I live nowhere near that store.

At the 6:10 mark in the video, that's not Shannon's Soap, right? The logo looks like Sudsy Soapery.

Lol. I live about 70 miles away and I've only been there 3 times in the last 3 1/2 years thankfully (for my wallet). It hasn't stopped me from ordering online though!

I believe that's Shannon's husband Brian. Their new logo is quite similar to Sudsy Soapery's though.

After visiting the place, I feel the opposite to be honest. I have purchased so many things that I wasn't sure about and had to go through the trouble of selling, PIFing etc. It would be really nice to have a place where I can smell the goodies before buying.

I believe I would buy only the things I love (not the ones I like or 'not bad') if I can smell them first.
