I came home with a bag full of freebies and won a couple door prizes too, so that was cool. I did also buy a couple things, but I thought I restrained myself pretty well, haha. It's awfully hard to when you have shelves and shelves full of gear in front of you for 5-6 hours.

I wish I could've met some other DFS members there though. Oh well, there's always next year! And unfortunately, I didn't really take any pics. I know, I'm a bum. Sorry guys...
That'll be a 3-day ban for you!

He also took the artisans into a back room to conduct interviews with each of them. I wonder if he'll post those videos on Sharpologist or something.

Dude, I was making fun of the lack of pictures. Another stressful day? I don't get your infatuation with me and attacking me over stupid stuff. Don't like my posts? Easy, block me and you don't have to read them.

Wow, that was so easy. You are welcome!

I'm looking forward to some pictures of the event.

The meet up was awesome. We made a mini vacation out of the trip, since it was about 8 hours from us. I enjoyed being able to get 42 early. Actually, I'll go a step further- I wouldn't have bought 42 based on the description. I needed to smell it first hand.

Anyways, meeting Brad & Casie, the artisans....it was awesome. I just joined this forum so I didn't think to ask people there about DFS!

Hector, speaking as someone who has been known to occasionally go off on a tangent, I enjoy and appreciate your contributions. I think that within reason we have a certain amount of latitude to stray from the subject matter of specific posts/threads - it keeps it interesting. Maybe there ought to be a meetup in a location such as Paris - I'd rather go there than central Michigan (sorry Michigan) - for me given the distance and time the cost would be comparable.

Lol, I don't blame you. I just post to have fun here and there. Some of my posts are worth reading, some are not, and those are for my benefit, lol.....Some individuals take this too serious, and if this is all they have, I feel sorry for them. I'll allow them to be ignorant and laugh about it.
