Goats and sheep to cut the grass - then you can get milk and meat from the grass via the animal - Mead.  I'll be looking forward to MacDuff's Meadery.  I read up on Mead back in my home brewing days.  I especially liked the description of the hangovers you get from over-indulging with mead.  Apparently theyre epic and some feel that decapitation is preferable!  You will have space to do all sorts of things like (random thought based on what I've been reading about) grow Chili peppers and make hot sauce, both fermented and not.  Maybe mixed with some honey.  And sheep milk.  I don't care for goat milk 

I hear sheep are easier to keep than goats anyways!  Less jumping. Speaking of mead I recently made a raspberry with florals and spices that's ready to bottle--it turned out so well that I thought it would make a great shave soap scent.  Splurged on some supplies including some $$$ beeswax extract--now that's a hangover

And goats also have those demon eyes!  Sheep are the way to go. 

That mead sounds amazing as does a soap based on it. It sounds like we can look forward to some very special things from MacDuff’s in the future. Best of luck with the rural operation Sean.

Does anyone have the Old Strathcona Soap and splash? Just wondering how you like it. 

I picked up a soap bar one my last order and the scent is quite good. Different than other barbershops, this one seems a little darker and more masculine. 

I was also pleasantly surprised by the quality of the soap. Seems to be as hard and work as well as the SV soaps I’ve used over the past couple years. Scent strength is stronger, but not over powering in any way. Will definitely order some more soaps in different scents if I pick up more shave sets.
