Kevin, we do seem to, I only tend to like the best Wink

I would say that my favourites so far tend to be soaps that rarely get a bad review.

Completely understand on TR. It's not a favorite of mine either but it is a n excellent soap nonetheless. The thing with TR is it has to be lathered right, which in my case requires palm lathering initially and then face. I don't know why but that's the only way I can get it right.

Mystic Water? It's one of my favorites out of the limited number of soaps I have experience with. Great post-shave, IMHO.

Have you tried Tabula Rasa yet? If not you may want to add if to your list. It's an excellent soft soap with a very fluffy texture. I've never seen anything like it actually but it is very good and provided a great post shave.

Interesting regarding the Green label. His original line has been great with the three scents I have. Would be interested to know if you continue to see this with the green label.

RE OP: I have been looking at Knockout shave, and country club for men soaps. Have not pulled trigger as I am trying to work through what I have, but they are on the short list.

The Green Label is still a good soap and the scent on Cypress is wonderful. My first two shaves were great and the post shave is noticeably better than the original line imho. However, the last two times I lathered it it dried out on me so I just feel the original line provides a more consistent and stable lather. Tim's is definitely one of my favorite artisans and I'd put the original line right up there with Catie's Bubbles and Soap Commander. Also, the scents are every bit as good and I've owned 3. However, for a recommendation to someone who has never used Tim's and is looking for the best of the best artisan soaps to try I recommend the original line. For those who have used Tim's and are looking to try his new line I believe it is worth buying. Also, for citrus lovers I can't stress enough how nice the scent is on Cypress.

I've got nothing, other than Italian Barbers new value priced soaps.I have the Aquatico in my collection. Not a bad soap in the $4.99(US) range, behaves just like Razorock soaps.I think you will enjoy the Country Club soap Oli,their Blend No. 5 (which I own) is a nice take on the classic barber shop scent.Really good performer!!I look forward to your findings, especially any new citrus scents you come across.

Cheers Ryder, I have used RazoRock but their new soaps I have not. I will defiantly be picking up some Citrus scents the likely hood will be I will pick up one citrus and one sweeter based scent from each.

I just remembered two more I don't see on your list, Soapy Bathman and LPL. Maybe you tried then already.

The Amici soap has elements of citrus but is very earthy and rich at the base. At $2.99 USD it is a super value- I like both the AS and the soap.

Hobbyist, thanks again, I have tried Soapy Bathman but LPL is one I haven't - the only thing with their soaps is that none of the scents even slightly make me want to try them! Soapy Bathman is a good soap I enjoyed it a lot in particular the banana one Smile

Kevin, I will bare that in mind, the cost is incredible and I am pretty sure some of the scents would be great but shipping to the UK from Italian Barber would be more than it's worth, unfortunately they have the worst shipping rates around Sad
