All-

Life.  Things DO change.

Circumstances have me wearing a beard.  Hmmm.  Sure not something I planned.
And it looks like it may be that way for a while.

Daily shaving has been shoved aside.  However, I still manage a weekly shave of my bald head.  But that's with a Sensor cartridge.

The carefully curated brushes in my cabinet probably need to go to someone who will actually use and enjoy them.

So, as time, energy, emotion and inclination dictate, I'll be offering things for sale.  Brushes, most soaps, razors.  I'm unsure what all will be offered.  Oh yeah - blades.  I have far more than my aging years dictate is reasonable.

My current consolation is fountain pens.  I've re-kindled an old interest in fountain pens.  Mostly new, though a few vintage.  I still have a Parker 45 that I bought in 1967.

Anyway.  Thanks for reading my rambling.

Wow. So sorry to hear that. I hope things are well, otherwise.

So, what disposable did you decide to go with? I just recent dipped my toe in testing some, just to find a travel razor. I was never enamored with the 5-6 blade gadgets, but a tried and tested 2-3 blade one does seem to work quite well. Personally, I went with Gillette sensor 3.

That's a beautiful cabinet with plenty of vintage items (especially at the back of the shelves). Hopefully you choose to keep at least a few razors and brushes that befit the look... Sort of a decorative display piece.

Wishing you well in this change, and healthy times ahead.

Fountain pens and pens are a great hobby. I’ve been doing it for over 30 years now.
I would like to wish you great happiness and hope you at least keep one razor, brush, soap and pack of blades, just in case….

I  cannot afford the car of my dreams but I can certainly shave with the best razor in the world!

At the moment I have an old(?) two blade Sensor that uses disposable cartridges.  It predates the Sensor3.  I've had decent success in buying carts from fleabay

Would love to see a pic of your fountain pen collection. I am obsessed with them too lately.

Life does change, I hope things are still gonna be fine for you. I'm content sometimes when things just ride as they are, even Steven.

These are the regular use pens that live on my desk. I've since added a PenBBS 308 and a Pilot Custom 742.

Beautiful. My wife has a PenBBS 308 with the snowflake nib. We fill it with shimmer ink and use if for Christmas Cards.  I am more of a vintage man myself.  Trying my hand at restorations.  I just re-saced this Waterman's Crusader that was made in the 40s.

wishing you the best, MaxP!

I'm a head shaver as well and have found that my gillette skin guard is probably the best razor I've used for my head shaves. I try to find others to compete with it and they just never fully measure up....so I more or less stopped trying to slay that dragon!
