How about we revisit this post?
Mr Lipani is a very fine human.
I’d like to continue to be awed by all of DFS who have helped Frank in his time of need.
Speaking strictly for myself, I can’t imagine losing damn near everything.
If you belong to other wet shaving forums, etc…please consider posting this on they forum?

Tried to post it elsewhere and it was shot down... against the rules.

This is one of the more strict sites, but they don't have a vendetta against Frank (like B&B). Thus, I'd warn anyone against posting on B&B... you'll likely get banned (and your post will probably be deleted fast).[Image: cffba002328d39301bcb14c745076bdf.jpg]

I’m a proud banned B&B ex-member.
Seems to me that many folks these days, need to locate some chill pills…
Thanks to DFS for allowing us to help Frank.
It’s the right thing to do.

It's a shame really. There are some real good people over there and within the moderators, there are a few good ones as well. Unfortunately, the dislike or disdain towards Frank Dragonsbeard comes from higher up mostly within the Administrators and it is palpable. Not only have I been told not to speak of his person but, I couldn't even mention anything related about the Ethos brand in both charitable or donation type based projects example like the donations towards the Shavemd Soap and splash set that was set up for a good cause in helping others  in need and in this case a loss of a loved one and a respected plus well liked member. I don't understand the logic nor reasoning behind such ill will towards another human being.

Times sure have changed but, our humanity should be a constant throughout our existence. Unfortunately, humanity, decency or compassion is lacking in many areas of our lives and at times shows its dire gruesomeness among social sites. Sorry to say it but, some shave forums aren't immune of this wretched disease.

Anyhow, I spoke with Frankie last night for a while and he's always the same thinking about products, new launches and how he's going to take care of his customers in his time of need. He's thinking about taking care of his customers more so than trying to get another roof over his head. That's just how he works. He doesn't like to fail at anything.  It's his nature. Think about a fire that devastates everything that one owns. Included family heirlooms and the memories stashed away in ones personal belongings over one's life. It's a gut punch where a small few ever recover but, Frankie is overall in good spirits because he's great full that he still has his health. If this would have happened at night while he was asleep, we'd be talking a whole other story about a huge loss to the wet shave community and more importantly a bigger loss to humanity as we keep on losing the good ones that are irreplaceable. He's my friend and I love him as if he were my brother because he is, just a different mom.

Any help that anyone and everyone can provide would be of great use in helping another shave member get on his feet. He's been very appreciative of the outpouring of concern, support & well wishes. He'll make it through. Let's just help in giving him a little push. Besides, it's good for one's soul.

For those who may not know, Chill pills are a thing and I have just what they need.  And just so you know, you're right.

That's how I feel: it's the right thing to do, regardless if Frank is a vendor, paying vendor, etc...

Ok. I posted something on B&B. I organically slipped it into a conversation and kept details and links out. Folks will have to come here to see the details, but at least I have a small level of confidence it'll stay posted. It's not ideal, but it's something.

There are just so many folks there. If you search for Ethos you'll see LOTS of posts. Those people deserve to know what's going on, as many are great guys who would love the opportunity to help him. That's the kind of guy he is... Frank has made friends everywhere.

I thought I’d bump this thread. We’re not quite halfway to the stated goal with 58 guys making donations. I think we can do better. If you want to give just go to the original post in this thread and follow the link. Thanks Smile

I’d like to thank everyone for their kindness and support. I have finally found a new apartment and I’ll be moving in the 1st of April. It is difficult to loose everything as their are items that had memories and people attached to them that are irreplaceable and it’s taken a month to accept that but with a lot of encouragement and discussions with friends and family I’m now looking at this as a new phase of the journey of life.
Although I have not yet gotten the insurance settlement in my conversations with the representatives things are moving along. I also have to thank the Red Cross as they were a big help in the night of the fire and along the way. I’d like to also thank the Firefighters and Police that also gave me their support and assistance. I plan on giving a couple of them who really went above and beyond some of the products I make as a thank you for what they did.

I have instructed my son’s best friend who started the Go fund me for me to close it. I’ll be ok from here on but once again thank you all for your support. Also like to thank @Andrew18 for posting up on DFS as he saw it on FB and messaged me after he did. That was very kind and thoughtful. An Andrew you can close this thread when you get around to it.

Again my deepest thanks to everyone for your support and encouragement!

Frank
