The Kairos formula is not a thirsty tallow formula! I suggest loading from the jar with the least amount of water you think you can get away with. Then incrementally add water. The soap will reach optimal lather much quicker than you've experienced from other GD formulas or other tallow soaps.

Hi Mo, I just posted on the other thread that I'm using Kairos 4.7 still and that I scoop a quantity of the product and smear it on the bottom of a copper lathering bowl - I start with a soaked and well shaken out brush and add water as necessary until I get where I want.  Its beautiful.  Happy2

Is production formula Kairos firmer than beta 4.7.

I'm mixing it up - Lemon Bay today Smile

Thanks

Mark

Hi Marko I'm delighted you continue to enjoy the sample! Kairos production is much harder than 4.7. RayClem can unequivocally confirm the difference Wink

Enjoy the Lemon Bay. I wish I could find more Bay Rum. I have a 20ml from a scent I composed, it's called Coconut Bay. I sniff it every few days Smile I would love to release it.

And I would love it if you released it!  I love all bay rum and bay inspired products, well almost all of them  Big Grin  Coconut and bay have an affinity for each other (or at least I th9nk they do)

I did manage to lather up theKairos Ancien Agrumes and it was excellent - if I were to compare the final version to beta 4.7 that I have I'd find it hard to find a difference other than the 4.7 is softer in the tub.  They're both absolutely top notch  Happy2
