Larger lather bowl recommendations

Personally I like the more handmade look of the copper bowl but to be fair, I haven't actually held/used a Vikings Blade bowl so take that comment for what its worth.,

My favorite larger and deeper bowl is the Timeless blue plastic bowl. I tend to use it with my valuable brushes, since the plastic edge will not scratch or mar the finish on my brushes. The Timeless bowl also has ridges in the bottom which help make a super lather. You can easily hold it in your hand. It is very reasonably priced (approx $12).

My all time favorite bowl is not as deep but creates fantastic lather, and you can hold it in your hand easily. It is the ceramic "Helen's Suribachi Bowl" on Amazon. The price has doubled since it was discovered by the shaving community, but I think it is still worth the price (approx $22).

Thanks everyone for the terrific recommendations. I am going to end up purchasing several of these recommendations over the next few months. 

I did purchase JoeLr 's Pereira bowl recommendation. It works well with no spillage - check out this lather pic.

+1 for Symmetrical Pottery. The one I have is wide enough that there's no brush clanking and deep enough to not allow the lather to escape. The design provides a secure and comfortable grip.

Lather bowl is 5" (12.7 cm) wide by 2.8" (7 cm) deep
Inner reservoir holds 415 ml or 15 oz. of water

I have tried several including Captains Choice in ceramic and brass. Best i have used in a 13cm diameter Sori Yanagi stainless steel bowl.  It is large enough that the later does not slop out, the texture is good for whipping up a lather without damaging the hair, and the sides are shaped so that it is practically impossible to strike the brush handle on the rim of the bowl if you are paying any attention at all.
