$70 isn't too bad...$120 is more than I'd be willing to pay to 'try it out'.  lol
They've actually started going for a lot more lately

I saw that on eBay a few days ago. Way more than I'd want to spend...it also looks brand new too!

The first generation brass ones clean up very nicely.

Even if you factored in the re plate that price is still way too much for that razor.

Got my brass reasonable and spent $50 getting a bright nickel replate at Back Roads Gold. Only have roughly half the ebay one invested in it.

Sunday August 9, 2020
Razor: Krect Spiral Slant
Blade: Wizamet with a Shim (4)
Brush: Rubberset 400/Cashmere
Soap: Ethos/CBL Soaps Fresh Lime
Aftershave 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla
Aftershave 2: Ethos/CBL Soaps Fresh Lime Skin Food Splash
Fragrance: Aqva Amara

On recommendation of jmudrick I added a shim under the blade which widens the gap and also stiffens the hold when the blade is locked in. I never had trouble with it holding without the shim but thought I'd give it a try.  Smooth shave when you pay attention. There's NO WAY a straight could get a closer shave than this provides when operated as intended. As I sip some coffee and write this my face is still chilled form the soap and splash. GREAT shave for sure. Hope all have a great Sunday !!

I'd recommend trying it with blade first then shim not the other way around to stiffen up the assembly.

I may try that also but mine actually worked fine with no shim at all before. When I tried with a shim the goal was to not only see how much more it stiffened the locking mechanism but also to see how it changed the shave with a wider gap.
