If in makes you feel better, I had a Tatara arrive in NJ from Portugal in two days! Then it spent 4 days in lockdown before moving again.  Angry

Got mine in and loaded it up with a new Kai blade. Compared to my high gap Wolfman WR2 this was a much smoother shave. It’s a razor you can use on autopilot as a daily shaver but still more efficient than most other mild razors.

One cool thing is that there is zero chatter. I also appreciate the ergonomics of the handle and overall maneuverability of a relatively heavier razor. Very happy overall and I’ll likely use this daily.

Same opinion here. Loaded mine with a gillette black - 3 pass BBS with ease. And not a sound - will be my biz shaver when I'm a hurry and need a close shave. Very intuitive razor.

Same exact thing.  Mine cleared customs in Cincinnati on 2/9/22 and has just hung out there.  Oh well, I have other new toys to enjoy.

My experience with Customs is when it says "processed thru Customs facility whatchamacallit" their process was logging it arrived and will sit for awhile before leaving. Your next update will be close to delivery. Don't confuse "processed thru" with "shipped out"

Just checked and it now says order processed through Cincinnati and is no longer on hold, so maybe Monday or Tuesday I will have a razor!

I had a razor from Hungary that sat at NY Customs for 4 weeks before it moved. A quarantine thing I believe. Glad it's moving for you Happy2

Second shave tonight with this razor. Very comfortable and intuitive to start using.

It takes a little more polishing than my Wolfman razors to get BBS but for a daily driver, this thing is amazing. Gives you a close shave with extreme comfort.

Zero irritation so long as you are not careless.

I’m going to try a Feather in this next and see how that does. The KAI blade is still good but I think this mild razor can handle a little more extreme blade.

In most of my razors, the KAI is level 10. The Feathers go to 11. Definitely not what I’d personally stick in a super high gap DE for a daily shave.

I found the razor and a feather get along very well. A great match
