Just a quick unboxing of some Karve Brass base plates, handles, and a Christopher Bradley stand that I just received from Mookieb1

An unboxing video! Yea!!

Love it, looks like you got some great pieces. As you mentioned, it's definitely a lot nicer than the typical "Karve wait time". I hope they work wonderfully for you.

(You mentioned In the video you were having difficulty with the focus. I'm very much a novice, but I have seen a lot of people put their hand right behind the item to force focus? Might be worth playing around with and seeing if it works? Great video regardless!)

I will definitely do that. I just noticed in the picture that it shows some of the teeth missing, that is definitely not the case! I think the software just got a little bit giddy with cutting things off.

Thank you for the encouragement and advice! I have watched many other videos and saw people do things with their hands to bring the item into focus. I think I did the opposite of what you mentioned. When I was experimenting, I put my hand in front of my face and it brought the item into focus, but I probably should’ve put it behind the item like you mentioned.

I’m not a complete novice in shooting video, but I definitely am in this capacity. It’s a little different to film live people and action and movement as opposed to trying to focus on showing specific items up close. Focusing in this situation is much more precise and critical when trying to show an item and or the details of it. It’s also the first time I posted something where I added the light that I use for my phone to get a little bit better exposure a little bit less background noise.

I’ll continue to experiment and hopefully get things down a bit better. I have something coming, I don’t know when, that I definitely want to do an unboxing of. I know it’s gonna be a stunning item and I really want that video to come out good! Glad you enjoyed and thanks for watching!
