Things I don't need but had to have from Maggard's:

Pinaud Clubman Classic Vanilla (needed for use after sandalwood scented shave creme and new vegetable based shave soap)
Barr's  Cold Processed shave soap (needed  to cut into chunks for use with my old fashioned ceramic scuttle which I haven't used in years)
Pearl's new "The Sleek"  SE razor (needed to do the back of my neck and clean up pass after a SR shave)
Cella's new Crema Sapone  sandalwood scented soft creme  (needed because I currently don't have a creme for use with my black badger brush)

Notice use of the word "needed".

Oh, the hard soap did not come from Maggard's, it came from a local artisan.

Got this 24mm Silvertip from The Golden Nib as a gift. Installed in the Fluffy Industries handle. Looks good IMO. [Image: e5f594f52beb0b12b7e4450908ab4ce4.jpg]

Small Canadian mail call - but from Italian friend:

T+S - Sasq’ets II: one of the most interesting lavender out there imho, so deep, dark and resinous.
I still have (and love) the previous one and can confirm, it's a 1:1 match.

Wild Rose Premium Fine Grade: big Arkansas fan here, always been curious about those commonly known as their northern sisters!

A good shave is a small act of reclaiming order, a ritual of renewal . . . We all have moments when life becomes unruly. It’s fitting from time to time to recognize the quiet courage it takes to find one’s way back. Bouki

Thanks Dave, I absolutely agree. It fits sooo well.

I haven't used the knot yet, but from my cleaning lather, it seems to have almost zero backbone. I might have to reset it lower... We'll see. It does seem to be very soft, which is important.

Edit: I Just checked, it's 58mm loft. I pulled it to see if I could set it lower but it doesn't look like it. Reset the knot. Tomorrow is my next shave, so we'll see how it goes.
