Ran into this on the Bay, with around 34 seconds left to bid. Got it for under $9 including shipping.

No date code, which I believe puts it in the 1940s batches. Seems to work well and is in very nice condition.

I'm not a big fan on Gillette razors but I hope the early date code gives this one some oompf. If it ends up being too mild, it still makes for a nice gift / PIF to a fellow shaver.

The handle resembles the one on my British Aristocrat Junior, one of my favourites.

Finally arrived today. I had not bought arazor since August, 2019, so I really looked forward to it.

And a "+" symbol. So we know which way the battery goes in? 

The first thing I noticed was the snug threading that others have mentioned - no wobble even with only one or two turns in. It's almost creepy.
The colour is less of a Coca-Cola red, and more of a slightly de-saturated metallic red. It's red enough for me, I guess.

Cheap ($20) CRUDDY razor lot that is cleaning up. Anyone know what Injector I need to make a handle for as I can't decipher the different models ? They are in a soapy bath soak and cleaning up nicely.






EDITED - After a night of a soapy water soak and tooth brush scrub.

I like A&E soaps, so I bought this on a blind buy.  The member of another forum who sold it to me was kind and included a few tucks as well.

Weck Med Prep came in today. Been wanting to get another one of these after letting one go some time back. Never thought it would happen again. 2nd pic for size comparison to an Injector.
