I was able to pick one up and used it for the first time today. All I can say is that you just can't beat it for 10 bucks! Well I guess normal price is $14.99 but still a steal. The only other synthetic I've used to compare it to is my Omega S-brush. It's different in a good way. It's much softer and not as "springy". I also love the heft and shape of the resin handle.

I was surprised how heavy it was...not in a bad way, just not what I expected.

This project has been a long time coming. We finally launched our Custom Shaving Kit Builder at Italian Barber...

http://www.italianbarber.com/pages/custo...it-builder

It won't be life changing for you long time traditional wet shavers (unless you are looking for a gift) but please check it out and tell us what you like and don't like about it. 3 or more products needed to add a kit to the cart... minimum discount is 10%. We believe it gives the new guys a ton of options and we'll continue to add products to the page if it proves successful.

While I know you subsidise them, I can not bring myself to purchase from you (despite constructing a buy list several times with a total over three figures), due to the postage prices, when compared to other international vendors.
A fairer playing field for international orders is something I implore you for further investigate, particularly considering you afford free postage for USA purchases above a certain price.
Maybe, and this is just an idea, not an ultimatum, double the required spend, or offer a 50% reduction in postage at the current spend requirement for us international customers ?

I used my brush the other day. Unfortunately it feels like it is a little more dense and has a little more backbone than my Plisson. Hopefully it will give a little over time. I find that the Plisson is PERFECT for me. I was hoping the IB version was exactly the same, just in a resin handle.

Firstly, thank you for having me here and thank you for all the support.  I know many of you are Italian Barber clients and RazoRock users and I can't thank you enough for giving us your business and for your word-of-mouth referrals.

Andrew has given me his word that DFS will not be run like The Shave Nook and I trust him so soon you will see a DFS linked logo on ItalianBarber.com and we will help him build this community up and drive traffic to the forum.  I can see that we already have a great bunch of guys here that are super passionate about traditional wet shaving; you guys know how passionate I am so it would be great to have a community built on the right foundation.

I will try my best to keep this thread updated with the latest news and offerings from both ItalianBarber.com and RazoRock.  We will have a big update coming around mid August.

Just today we have added the 70th Anniversary Products from Saponificio Varesino, as well as some new Reef Point offerings.

You can check them all out on our NEW STUFF page... NEW STUFF PAGE LINK

I was shocked to not see you on TSN anymore, but am very pleased that you have found this forum. Your products are high quality and more than fairly priced.

Unfortunately, our shipping rates for international are not very good. We already do subsidize at those rates.

Hi Joseph, this looks great, I see that the Razorock line is for sale on both amazon.com and amazon.ca.  Maybe you can answer a question I've had for a while?  Why would the Razorock aftershave wax list for $16.99 on amazon.com and $63.99 on amazon.ca?  I know there's FX but the difference in dollars isn't that much!  I would obviously buy this stuff directly from IB but I've noticed outrageously stupid pricing for many items (not just RR) on the Canadian amazon site.  I don't think it helps the brand to see such a ridiculous price disparity.  I'm guessing there are opportunistic resellers out there who may prey on ignorance but do they take us for complete morons or what? I will often compare the two amazon sites for pricing on products and will buy front he one that comes in cheapest but some things won't ship to Canada.
