Italian Barber (Razorock) mystery razor

Well done to everyone who got one and I hope you enjoy them but I have to be honest I'm really not up for this sitting perched by my PC refreshing madly to buy stuff any longer. I'm glad I managed to get a Stealth when I did but it was torture getting one. 
I much prefer just putting my name on a list and waiting for the email to tell me if I made the list or not. I don't mind waiting but all this not knowing if they are actually sold out or if more will go up or losing them at checkout and having to sit and not know if it's a pointless exercise or not to continue trying. Before you know it you've wasted an hour of your life you just won't get back.
 I understand there is a very limited supply of this particular razor and this is still a fair way to do it but I'm not really up for all this death by a 1000 clicks of the mouse malarkey any longer . Don't confuse this with jumping on the bandwagon with criticising IB or Joe, I've had many fruitful dealings with Joe and plenty of pleasant correspondence and I'm sure I'll continue to.
Maybe I'm just getting old and don't really have the patience or inclination any more, I don't know but enjoy all the same.

I couldn't have said it better myself.  There are many wonderful razors out there that one can order with ease and get delivered in the same week.  I don't see the point of waiting list or website refreshes for a razor, it makes little sense to me.  It's not like there isn't literally hundreds of razors out there to choose from and many of them shave as well or better as these "limited" razors.  I've used many of these "limited" razors via friends and while they are great razors they weren't great enough for me to wait months to get one.

I have to admit my Stealth is one of my favourite razors but are my shaves from my Gillette Fatboy that much worse, of course not. I did get caught up in the whole life changing limited razor thing for a while but where does it all end?

It ends when everyone(or at least most) involved in wet shaving STOPS buying limited razors right off the bat and demands that the makers put them out like a normal product.  With a normal product run after testing and don't hike the price because it's 'special'.  When in fact, as stated above, it's not a huge difference compared to those razors that are available now and in large numbers.

We need to use our money to speak for us when it comes to things like this; limited this and exclusive that, bull.  To me that's a money grab pure and simple; making people want something that isn't that special because it's a LIMITED run, or, a once off kind of thing.  Be it soap, razors, blades, whatever, we have to let the makers of these things should be made easily accessible and available to -everyone- upon launch, or, at the least, very soon after that.

These razors... Stealth, Baby Smooth, Black Mamba are just a hobby thing for me. I don't do a list because I probably would never be able fill demand, don't make many and want to stop producing when it's time to move on. I agree with the other poster, no reason to waste time going after these because there are plenty of great razors readily available at all times.

But what about all the other folk that weren't lucky enough to get one, I appreciate what you have said about the nature of these razors being a hobby for you but it's obvious there is a high demand and you are the only supplier of them , should you not feel a responsibility at some point to make a more consistent effort to produce a razor, baby smooth, stealth etc that is and has always been in very high demand in a far larger production batch to at least satisfy demand to a certain extent. Let's be honest for the most part the vast majority of people in this marketplace wouldn't stop at one razor anyway so it's not as if you would do this and everyone would just suddenly feel completely satiated and not buy anymore razors from IB when they come out, most guys would probably buy every incarnation that followed anyway.
Just my thoughts as a customer. Like I said I've got my Stealth so I'm alright , Jack or Joe!

I personally don't feel any manufacturer really has a responsibility to continually bring something to market. yes, if that is their only product and they want to remain in business, they'll need to do something or die off. razorock seems to be a fixture in wet shaving and I highly doubt it's going anywhere anytime soon.

Fair enough. I don't think Razorock will be disappearing any time soon and nor would I like that to happen but there is no denying that more and more people are getting a bit fed up with the rigmarole associated with buying a Razorock razor these days. The limited editions will still sell out because of the small production numbers but the amount of customers who could potentially "tune out" to the IB website might grow, which would be a shame.

That's definitely possible. If people stop wanting what I offer then I close up and move on,,, it won't be the end of the world for sure, haha.
