Personna Platinum's are one of two blades I have right now, the other being Voskhods. I like the Voskhods and love how cheap they are, but the Platinum's are a step sharper and smoother for me. I also don't need to really "feel the blade" on my face-I prefer a smooth and tug-free shave. There are probably a ton of blades out there that would work for me, but between the Voskhods and Platinum's, both being on the budget side, I'm happy. The fact that I have about 350 blades and only shave once every other day at should also help me from exploring into other blade brands.
Should.

I really enjoyed my first two shaves (yesterday and today) with the Personna Platinum. I'd say the best blade I've tried yet.

one weird thing for me is after testing both the red and uk packs again i find i prefer the red packs to the uk packs, i have no idea why unless its just the difference in batch but i find the red packs to be a better blade and they seem to retain the edge just a hair better. again they are supposed to be the same blades so maybe just that they were made slightly different who knows. the uk ones are always MUCH cheaper though then the red packs for some reason also.

I hold them in regard with the Astra SP. They're not necessarily the best shave for me, but they're always consistent and reliable. I find them (both) to work well in the DE89 style head. It's a shame I don't use that design much anymore.
