DONE.  I don't think there is anything wrong with them at all I just have blades that I like better.  Someone sent them to me with a razor that I traded for which I wasn't expecting.

I like these blades. Back a few years, I wanted to get 100 of the US red packaging, but WCS was out. They offered to sub these, telling me they were the same blade just packaged for the UK market. So I said yes. Some days later, i found a vendor with the red packaging and bought 100 of those. To my face, I cannot tell a difference. Both are my preferred blade, as I consider them to be the same. On the other hand, I prefer Coke to Pepsi, so I could be wrong! wyze0ne has helped me out with other topics, and his experience is not to be ignored, but should be factored in. In any event, enjoy the shave!

Well I kind of like those Israeli Reds myself, I've only tried it does indifferent blades or less. Trying to Zone in on what seems to work good or the best. It's kind of funny how some of those blades are made here and packaged like this or package like that.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, lol. Another huge factor that I did not mention; the razor. The only one I've used the actual red pack Personnas in is my Karve with the D plate. I've used the other blue package "Platinum" labeled ones in many different razors and found them to be a decent blade, just not exceptional for me. Perhaps I'll grab a few of them to try in the Karve and do a side-by-side comparison someday. Sorry for the slight oversight, keto. Hopefully the blades work out for you.

Shoot ,I appreciate any and all views . I'm still trying to get a handle ( pun intended) on a few of these shaving details that we deal with,WyzeOne.

EfDan, that works in fine shape. I used a lab blue on the third use last night, and I've got a personna red I think I've used 13 times to just monkey around with it and see if I can tell a definite difference and when it does change into a bad blade. Thanks again for the opportunity EfDan , very appreciated.

Personally, I can’t tell a difference between the current red pack blades and the UK pack blades. I just prefer the red cardboard packaging. The plastic pack can be difficult to get blades out of after the first few are removed, and it won’t accept used blades at the back (some others do). The cardboard pack fits better in a small Altoids tin, leaving room underneath for old blades while traveling.

I love the Israeli Personna. Excellent blades. I got them is Hypermarket in France last year. They sold them in unnamed package.
I bought the same package this year, and the blades were Dorco made in Vietnam. Not been disappointed either. Very good blades. Both give me a solid 5 shaves.
