Gillette Ruby Plus - first time shaved with it great blade no irritation very surprised

Sputnik Blade shaved with it first time very smooth no irritation at all as good as Tiger Platinum

Wizamet shaved with it not too bad little spots

Gillette Silver blue was good blade but not as smooth as Sputnik or Gillette Ruby Plus

I'd go with Astra Superior Platinum and Shaverboy Super Stainless.

They feel similar to me, but Shaverboy is about a third of the price (100 blades for CAD$7.95 including tax and regular postage). Oh, and the company is based in Sainte-Marguerite, Québec. Shouldn't take long to get to you.

I haven't tried hypermiling the Shaverboy blades yet. I typically toss them after 20 shaves, but I expect they could go double or triple that.

Tiger Platinum, Tatra Platinum and Voskhod are the best for me.

You need to try them all to find what suits you best. One man’s smooth and efficient favorite can be another man’s bloody nightmare.

My skin generally liked a coated blade but hopefully on the sharper side too. That’s open to interpretation but a lot of platinum coated blades I have liked lately or over time are Gillette Rubie Platinum Plus and Red Pack Israeli Personnna Platinum Chrome. I’ve had good luck as well recently with Rapira Platinum Lux and since you mentioned it AlanH81 I will use a Sputnik sometime soon. I heard good things and it peaked my interest so I will try to review them sometime in a
thread. I also like Astra Green and Voskhod as they offer a smooth but milder shave. Pol Silver blades have always been a pretty high standard for a blade considering both it’s sharpness and smoothness. That has always been a consistent performer over the years and an ever sharper blade would be Kai DE blades. Those are another favorite of mine from lots of close shaves in lots of different razors.

I did try Astra SS, Astra Green, they don’t give me smooth shave as Tiger Platinum or Tatra
that’s for sure or maybe it’s just me

There are no irritation free blades, just irritation free shaves. That comes moreso with good prep & technique and less so from which blade selected or artisan "unobtainium" razor.
