Hello all. I just recently got into wet shaving a month or two ago, and surprise, I’m already addicted lol. I recently lost almost everything I had unfortunately including my kit and am going through some things but hope to be able to get back into this soon enough when I finish my new job training in 6ish weeks. In the meantime, I’m really glad I found this forum. I’ve already seen and learned about a lot of things I was unaware of like different brands, etc. I love the community. You guys seem to have a wealth of knowledge that I could definitely benefit from and seem like a genuinely awesome group of people. Thanks for having me! You will see me around.

DFS is a great community for wet shavers. I have learned much, benefited and been enabled, and hopefully was myself helpful for others.

Sorry to hear of the tough time you are going through. Sounds as if you are already bouncing back. Good luck with the new job! These are challenging times, and I can't imagine what it has been like for you, to lose so much. Hang in there, lean on friends, and chime in anywhere to join the fun!

On a personal note, and as a plug for the Video and Journals sub-forum, give a some thought to starting a thread there. You can vent, tell us what you like about this crazy rabbit-hole ridden hobby, vent, look for support, etc! Since Jan 2019, I have been dealing with tons of stressors. I found the community to be great, and a journal allowed me to cope, or vent, or escape, whatever is needed.
