On the material — I believe all ShaveCraft razor heads are made out of aircraft grade aluminum. I’ve had a few, and they were quite good.
The SBS seems to be a somewhat legendary design (I’m not sure whether iKon or Tradere came up with the original concept — someone jog my mind). I’m waiting to see what the “price of greatness” turns out to be, and what the reception to this iteration will be.

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

”Can do” day for me, as well. I feel like I’ve already found the razor for me, and I’ve had three other iKon ShaveCraft razors, all of which I’ve sold. Yet there’s something so fascinating about the SBS design, that I guess I just couldn’t resist…

Just received the new, revised El Jefe head dubbed the MR-SE. Couple pics below to show the difference between the 1st gen to the 2nd gen. Better tolerance and tighter fitment for the blade post and blade post holes. Next up a shave. I feel though that the blade still has a minute amount of play, not as severe as the first one, but it's there.
Sorry for the bad pics gents.......
MR-SE on left, original El Jefe on right......
Tighter tolerance, but still not a precisely perfect fit on the blade posts......
Much less play once assembled.....
Even blade exposure and dead on alignment along the length of the safety bar.......
As I said, a shave coming right up....
