Of the few shaves I've completed with a DE razor, the C.O. Bigelow cream was by far the easiest to lather and most enjoyable, comfortable shave. The other soaps and creams I used are not slouches either. I'm in no way saying that the Bigelow is better; but, I was able to create the best lather with it thus my result.
$10 well spent I say.
Now, i need to learn to lather soaps.

if you're having trouble lathering soaps, try adding some water to the top of the puck for a few minutes before using it. in the shaving world, this is known as 'blooming the soap', and it seems to help, especially if you have hard water like many of us have.

C.O. Bigelow (Proraso) cream whips up a very respectable lather. Pleasant scent as well.

Andrew, I only have the AOS soap in the bowl that came in a kit years ago, and Shave Revolution, The Executive Man that was sent as a sample I believe with a brush I just purchased. The first time I used it did not go well. After watching videos and receiving tips from members of this forum, i figured out that I did not use enough water. Tonight I got a Fantastic lather! I'm getting it!

Thanks

Well done! As Primo mentioned, CO Bigelow is manufactured by Proraso and was my first Cream as well. I always keep a tube on hand and often use it for travel. Great stuff.
