Honestly, when I started wet shaving, almost twelve years ago, the green Derby blades were the first to give me that "Ah ha!" moment when I realized how good a traditional wet shave could be. However, I began to find that the quality control just wasn't there and those blades became more hit or miss than I would have liked so I stopped using them. Blades aren't that expensive so, for me, it's not a case of giving up on shave gear so much as it's my face deserves better. Smile

Well said my good sir!

Derby Extras didn't work well for me. The premium blades did. So I agree.

I never knew that they had anything other than Extra. Guess after trying an Extra once I avoided anything that started with Derby.
