If you have time to hold off on the cleaning process, I would also recommend using a C.O. Bigelow natural boar bristle tooth brush.  I use one on my razors.  It's very safe for the razors and works great

I just bought a lot of 85 razors should be very interesting and you can put the gillette's in the dishwasher if you like not going to hurt anything
