A charity drive organized on reddit for a brush handle made by Bristle Brushwerks and knot by Declaration Brushworks. Aka @"landlgrooming"
Amazing 27mm knot. Density and softness that rivals the big names. Handles turned in the USA by Bristle Brushwerks. Knots tied in the USA in house by Declaration. Yes, you heard that right, another full USA artisan job. The only other guys I know that does knot tieing in the USA is The Varlet.
Declarations knots are bit denser and has stronger backbone as compared to The Varlets Finest knots; more in line with the current offering from Paladin Shaving.
Lather release is excellent. A bit quicker than Paladin, but not as easy as The Varlets.
Similarly the lather retention is in between the two as well.
Tips are soft with no hint of scritch and minimal scrub.
