I use this in my routine with the exception of as I squeeze the knot I push the knot into the circle and give it an ever so slight twist. I know some may think this will loosen the knot in time but I'm not worried as I was the one to set all my brushes and I know how well the knots are set in place... I've been doing this for a couple years now and so far so good!!
