How many passes on your neck

How many passes do you typically do on your neck?

For me it's typically one as it's acceptable and my neck is incredibly sensitive. Sometimes I'll do 2, but not often.

Three - WTG, XTG, and ATG with a DE.

Two - WTG and ATG with a straight.

Luckily I don't have any issues with my neck.

Minimum three during the week - it's a jungle down there. Squeeze the brush for touch ups on top of that then done.

Weekends I most often slow it down and may take four passes.

Two passes everywhere for me. WTG and ATG and done.

I usually make three passes on my neck, but today I did two because it is still a little tender.
My whiskers are so rough that if I don't shave well before wearing a button collar shirt, my neck will and down the inside of the collar!

Two passes, same as the rest of my face. Fortunately, I don't have the sensitive skin issues that some of you have.

This may sound harsh to some, but everyone who wet shaves claims to have "quick & thick growing beard with sensitive skin", especially when starting out.

I don't think our beards and skin are all that different in terms of sensitivity to the blade. Scents and oils are another story.

Only two with the grain, no matter SR or DE. No need for more than that in my situation.

First stroke from chin to neckline down the windpipe (basically WTG) Then from windpipe to under the ear (WTG)
Second stroke from chin to neckline down the windpipe, then up from neck line to jaw on each side. This would be a XTG pass for me.

Anything more would just be taunting foliculitis.
