How is noone talking about the Rocnel Sailor??

It's not just the price.  I tried to buy a Rocnel Sailor last year, but was unable to get Western Union to let me send Murat money.  I suspect he'd sell more of these if it was easier to buy one from him.

So to get a razor straight from Murat, West Union is one way to buy. Can a guy use a card to pay, or what other ways work?

Phil at Bullgoose posted on IG that he was getting some Sailor 2021’s that would be available this spring. I’m not yet aware of pricing info but they looked less “fancy” (no gold) and more like the 2019 and 2020 models that Phil sold last year. Hopefully they’ll also be priced similarly which would be a relative bargain, IMO.

Murat told me $485 and I'm pretty sure that includes the stand.

That is the photo with the A on the end. A and B handle choices are the indicators. One razor is 128g and the other is 138g. Heads are identical. The B handle is curved as Murat described it so im assuming the B model is the lighter variant. Murat said he would reveal B style handle soon on IG.

I did not ask about the wooden coffins. Not sure if they will be included or not.

Apparently, the gold trim and the 3D engraving on the butt end of the handle is also optional with no upcharge.

He made 4 2021 prototypes again and all 4 have sold.

That's all the info I've got for now. Hope this is of some benefit, Mr Vult.

I’m patiently waiting for the Ti version but this one will be hard to pass up at that price especially with a stand.

Looking forward to seeing that curved handle variant and hearing which model you think is best.

Only one I can think of is a Merkur Vision 2000.

I am looking forward to seeing pics of the B alternate 2021. My only reservation with curved option is balance. The 2020, despite feeling like a mini sledge, is perfectly balanced to my hand. Lose 10g in the handle...does it get head heavy?

LOOT haha mini sledge, good one. The weight is a concern of mine.

Murat confirmed to me the gold will be optional to help bring the cost down for the new model. The “vanilla” razor will be 485 as someone previously mentioned. Also I use a tibam stand from eBay custom made for a 15 mm handle (handle is 14.96 mm exactly )

Also 690 is expensive but compared to all my other high end razors you just get way more.  The weight keeps it from being a daily shaver for me so I’m looking forward to the new model.

Frank as far as you know  2022 is still the expected release of the titanium, as others have already said?
