how do you lather up croaps?

how do you lather up your croaps? for those who don't know, I think most of us consider croaps to be very soft soaps with a slightly firmer texture than creams in a tube.

for me, I typically start with a damp brush, lather directly on the croap and add a few droplets of water to the tips of the brush until I feel my soap load is sufficient before going to my face.

That's how I do it as well Andrew. This is how I lather both hard and soft soaps.

Pretty much same here. If super soft I may adjust my load pressure accordingly ensuring that I am actually picking up product, not just moving it around but other than that: load and go!

I just use a damp brush, usually a badger but sometimes a synthetic, something with softer tips and just load it until I'm satisfied.

For whatever reason, I feel like having my brush be a little more wet than it normally would, combined with using a little less pressure while loading is the sweet spot for me.

When I use any soap in dish/container form, I perform the similar method as you have stated, Andrew.
However, I only use my main soap in shave-stick form, so I just rub it on my face and start lathering.

Load it like I love it

Damp brush, load it quite heavily. Not as heavy as a hard soap though for obvious reasons.

Castle Forbes is a hard cream = a croap (all my 6 pots (3x2) are anyway)

Caties Bubbles is a soft soap = a croap (almost cream like, my 10 pots are anyway)

Tabula Rasa is a soft soap = a croap (my 10 pots are anyway)
