I seem to have fallen behind regarding the BBS1 and Wolfman. The Mongoose is my best, and I'm wondering what are the comparative opinions of you gents who have used all of the above in terms of efficiency and harshness (the absence thereof). Thanks for helping me out!

To me I thank the only razor to beat a r41 is maybe the ikon tech.

Used and owned all of the razors mentioned. The most efficient is certainly the R41('13) but you sacrifice comfort as it leans towards the harsh side.

The BBS1 will give you near R41 efficiency and aggressiveness without the harshness.

And then there's the Wolfman. For me it provides just as an efficient shave, if not a touch more than the Mongoose with possibly an even smoother overall feel.

Truly an exceptional shaver that for me, surpasses the Mongoose.

All the talk of these Wolfman razors has me curious. If it wasn't for the whole "DE blades don't work for me" thing, then I would have to try one. I could never imagine any DE razor ever shaving me as good as any SE razor, let alone the Mongoose.

Brian- what I think you would likely appreciate from a DE razor like the Wolfman is that blade chatter/ flex is virtually non existent much like an SE. Smile

Yes, that is precisely why I'm slightly intrigued to try them. If they were easily attainable and more affordable I would probably give it a go. For now, I'll just sit back and enjoy seeing others getting great shaves from some great looking kit. Big Grin
