WOW gang a modern that can keep up with the Gibbs is quite an impressive razor. Once I got the brass extension handle on my Gibbs it blew out all other (vintage and moderns) continuous/dial adjustables so I agree with others that the Gibbs is the standard. Personally a razor with multiple base plates may be considered, by some, to be adjustable but unless I can do it on the fly using some sort of dialing mechanism it does not work for me as an adjustable - I might just as well shave with multiple razors. With this Taiga and Janus coming out it should be interesting and I would think many will pay attention. Having passed on the Rex, this may be something to follow.

Very curious compare it to the Rex, even from memory
I'm too new here so unable to contact CK89. It's so interesting for my sensitive skin where low settings are possible. I'm not sure if I should take a chance and get a Rex from WCS as black Friday deal because I had 3 great shaves on settings 2-2.5

I added your name in my list, Gus has already informed me about your request.
You will be able to send PM, after you will have 15 comments.
Razor Emporium has 30% discount, better deal.

CK89 Thanks for the information
Just ordered the Rex after struggling to find the discount code on third-party website so even more interested to compare it to Taiga on low settings

$175 for a brand new REX is awesome deal.
It is 316L adjustable razor, hard to beat this deal.
Used ones cost more than this.

I am going out of topic but Groomatorium has 30% deal, too.
If you haven't tried one of Zoologist soaps yet, you should go for it. Love his Zoologist Macaque, one of the best and the most complicated scent It has.

If there’s any extra time before the razor has to be returned to Russia I’d be very interested in trying the prototype out.
