[Image: aM2iKHQ.jpg][Image: wcuL4dC.jpg]Last day with the Taiga, I just dropped it off at the PO so Keith you should have it Monday, I emailed you the tracking info.
So for my last shave with the Taiga I put it side by side with the FatBoy, a razor I think a lot of people can compare it too.
Pre-Shave - Hot Shower
Blades - 2nd use Feathers
Soap - Czech & Speake Oxford & Cambridge
Brush - Elite Razor Ironwood Synthetic
Aftershave - C & S Oxford & Cambridge
From my experience with my Fatboy I do a 3 pass shave on 7WTG & XTG then 4 ATG so I set the Taiga on 4.
The Taiga was smoother in both passé WTG and XTG and once again only required a few touchup spots for buffing.  The Fatboy had a little more blade feel and a much louder and tinnier audio feedback, it required a full 3 pass shave to equal the results of the Taiga.  Weight was noticeably a big difference between the 2 razors but both were well balanced and very maneuverable. I need to throw out Kudos to Captain Murphy and Chris for the wonderful job they did on my Fatboy it is like a brand new razor.

Chris is awesome, he informs the customers in detail. He explains all the steps he did.
And he is always costing after the customers are happy with the results. I love working with Chris.

I have #15 Aristo Rhodium replated by other company. They did rhodium coating over uneven doors without fixing them.
And every time they informed me the doors had been even, but they were not.
I sent them twice to fix the doors, and I waited around 6 months for fixing this razor, but unfortunately I didn't get a good results.
I just sent it to CAP, and I am really hoping he can fix it without damaging the rhodium plating.

I was hoping someone had a Fatboy in this mix.      That's a great looking Fatboy, those gentlemen do great work!

I got the Taiga razor today from  Mark. This is a very nice looking razor with some heft to it, and nice looking.
So I started with some grooming Department shaving soap, feather blade first use, and I said the razor up as far as it would go, ( starting on the N all the way around to the end again and one more number                ( whatever that setting is).
This was 2 1/2 days of growth. First pass was WTG I went slow and did some short strokes because it was taken a lot of my coarse whiskers off. I probably could have went anywhere in public and nobody notice a hair on my face.
2nd and  3rd passes were XTG in opposite directions taking some more hair that was actually still there.
Then I did some against the grain touch up with extra jawline and below ATG in the ole problem area.
We ended up about as good as it gets, for me, in this shave.
Now my thoughts on the razor, and this just my nitpicky thoughts. Myself I'm realizing I don't prefer heavier razors, which I think is shorter handle or shorter titanium handle might help that. I think it would be great if this razor would be made to go ahead and turn on up like it is or turned down. I don't have a good set of feeler gauges to check the gap to see what's really going on.
I really like the efficiency and it's so terrifically smooth in my opinion. I did not once think it was going to slip out of my hand, so the handle had good enough grip for this shave.  something about being able to turn this up all the way + more and still be that smooth, seems like it's a win-win.
Thanks CK89 and Homelike shaving for this opportunity.[Image: QmbaY4D.jpg]

Taiga adjustable used on 1 day of growth.
  [Image: GWkOd9K.jpg][Image: l068qj2.jpg] Soap:The club/A&E Signature
    Synthetic brush
  Feather blade (2)
Started this one with it a #6 sitting on the razor WTG. It did not seem as smooth as yesterday but the blade had one more use and a different soap. Took the hair down good but not quite as good as yesterday but I had a lot less whiskers also. it almost felt like it did not have a blade in it as they say.
2nd pass was ATG but I backed the razor setting down to #5 . This past went pretty good and I'm still feeling the weight and the heft of the razor.
It's very well-built razor it's built like a tank! I'm still enjoying the handle although it's a bit long for my taste personally. The knurling on a handle seems to be effective no slippage yet.
Really not having any problem finding what angle to shave with as it's pretty intuitive, just put it up to the face and shave.
3rd pass/touch up was mostly around the lower jaw /neck , those hairs want to play hide and seek with a razor. But I got them cut down about as good as yesterday. I went down to #4 on this touch up but then ended up bumping it back up to #6 .

Okay so getting ready for a shave with this Taiga. When I got it the lowest setting was in and it wrapped around to include about 10 settings I believe. N,4,5,6,1,23,4,5,6. Something like that wasn't it guys. So that drove me a little bit nuts and I took it apart, reassembled it again and now it 5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6 roughly. So it went from a 10 speed to an 8-speed, but it's supposed to have six settings? This is the prototype though, and I noticed back on previous post there was some questions about the adjustment. I do notice the handle is backwards thread, at least from what i know in the US about threading and how the Gibbs is threaded. It doesn't matter to me how it's threaded at all. The bottom tightening piece that attaches the top cap is regular right handed threads. More later, I'm gonna shave with it somewhere between ##5 and the 2nd #6.

CK89 To be fair if I remember correctly LOOT had asked to be added to the pass around and the list was full so I’d think he’d be given first choice to fill the spot that Dave in KY gave up.

Just my 2 cents

I have already asked him, before my list post and note.
He said that he likes the razors with more blade feeling, he changed his mind to attend this pass-around.
