Good morning
I will try to answer all your fair comments.
At the moment, there really is a difference on the site between the price in rubles and the price in dollars, which mainly consists of a very high bank commission for working with the Paypal service, Paypal itself, and a small percentage in the form of insurance for potential returns. Based on the frequent requests of our clients in connection with this issue, we decided to change the bank, with which we agreed on the best working conditions.
We hope that next week it will be possible to pay directly in rubles at the same cost for everyone. Most likely, we will have to refuse to work with Paypal in the future, since our new bank requires the removal of the cost of payment in dollars since we are located in Russia and must accept payments in our own currency. I would like to note that we issue all overseas orders with a low invoice, which will avoid additional customs duties.
Most of the steel version of the razor sold out in less than a day. The next batch of razors is already in production, including the open-head version.

Thank you, Homelikeshaving, great to see the price difference (between paying in rubles from Russia or USD from abroad) has now been sorted out.

A few thoughts/ suggestions...
It is a shame that the razor doesn’t come with both SB and OC baseplates included, like the first SS batch did.
At least the Ti razor should include both baseplates, considering the price, in my humble opinion...

For the SS razor, if it only comes with one baseplate (SB in this second batch), at least the other plate (OC) should be available for purchase as an add on/ extra.
I heard a rumour (no idea if true...) that in the future you will only sell complete SS razors with either SB or OC baseplate. Which means that anyone who wants to have both plates could only do that by purchasing two complete separate razors.... doesn’t quite make sense to me, so hope that’s not the case.

My Titanium Taiga just hit American shores, excited to use it.

I’ve had a few more shaves with the SS Taiga. Very smooth and comfortable, really enjoying the shaves.
It’s fairly head heavy, especially compared to other razors I’m used to, but not to the point where it affects the overall balance and manoeuvrability.
I do find though that, when I hold it, it’s more comfortable if I rest my index finger on the adjustment dial. Although I certainly wouldn’t say it’s loose, the adjustment dial seems fairly easy to twist to a different level, so I do wonder if I might unintentionally end up moving it with my finger whilst shaving...

What do other people think?
Especially those who have used a Taiga razor from this second batch, as I’m not sure if there were any changes made between the first batch last year and the second one last month (in terms of how easy it is to twist the dial).

Or maybe it’s just an issue for me and my fat fingers...
I believe Homelikeshaving were posting here at some point... so hopefully they might answer this as well, if they have any suggestions about how I could “tighten” the adjustment knob a bit...?

After he moved from Paypal to credit card, his prices become very good. Under $200 for 316 Polished adjustable razor is almost incredible. 

I prefer SB plate more than OC, since it is more smooth for me.
But if he will do DC, it will be my preference.

I imagine your razor it’s from the original batch last year, since you mentioned the Titanium handle?

Yes, I agree, once he stopped charging different prices if paying in rubles vs USD, it became much better value.

The dial is very smooth, but almost too smooth and easy to move, IMHO.

I’ve never tried the OC, as it’s not an option anymore, but I agree a DC plate would be great.

Having both the original SS and the new Titanium, I have had no issue with the dial moving inadvertantly.

I assume this pass is completed but if not andrewjs18 could I give it a whirl ?

The natural position for me, especially during the WTG North to South pass, would be to hold it higher up on the handle, and my index finger ends up resting on the adjustment ring.

I hold most of my razors about 1/3 down the handle from the Top cap. But when I check my dial it doesn’t spin real easy like the original Rex did.
