Hi All,

We're going to auction off the 2nd Homelike Shaving Start DE razor from the DFS pass around as well as a Phoenix Starling v2 SE razor that was passed around on DFS.   I'll also be including the aftershave sample that I think homelike shaving included as well as a soap sample from sir henry's.

Auction starts at $75.  This will run until Wednesday at 6:59pm EST.  At 7pm, I'll lock the thread.

thanks to Homelikeshaving, CaD314 & dominicr for providing stuff from the previous pass arounds.

As usual, these items are USED and may have some blemishes in them.

This is the right way to do a raffle.

But I won't participate.
Even if the name was wrong, I preferred the other method. (Auction)

while somewhat true, it was also prohibitive for some folks.

The opposite, in the long run. Wink

I speak for users, as I'm in here.
But as Admin in other groups, I think the "auction mode" is better for the forum.
Next months will tell us.

Agreed on auction > raffle. With auction, you know the person who ends up with it really wants it.

To avoid too low a sale price on this, maybe set a reserve price to sell.

Auction bidding philosophy
- I do not need it but minimum bid to help nonprofit
- bargain price
- reasonable price
- reasonable price + nonprofit adder

Buying multiple raffle entries = nonprofit adder

bump. this didn't get the action I was hoping for in raffle format so I switched it back to an auction. The auction will start at $75 and will run until Wednesday at 6:59pm EST. At 7pm, I'll lock the thread.
