Those 4-piece Techs are both interesting and good looking, @Bruce.  I didn't even know they existed.

They aren't too easy to find, I've never seen one listed for sale anywhere. I picked my first up a few years ago, not knowing how rare it was. Then a few months ago, I saw another one locally and asked how much...$3. "I'll take it". Along with my Blue Tip Rocket, they are my most unique razors.

Here is a little video I made a few years ago, after my first one. I had no idea what it was, so posted to ask if anyone knew.

Brilliant!  I imagine it was meant as a travel razor.  I would love to know what the original packaging looked like.  Thank you for sharing this. Smile

Yeah, all vintage razors have gone up in price on fleabay. It's a shame. I wish there were more antique shops around me. All the ones I've been to never have any shaving stuff.

Around where I live, Jeff, when the antique stores do have razors, they are usually in awful condition at inflated prices. Sad

The secret has been out for a while now. My only great finds now are the occasional yard/estate sale, and even the estate sales are catching on. I'm just glad I have the few vintage ones that I really wanted before prices started to get out of control on the bay. B/S/T here is AWESOME though. OK it may not be heavy traffic, but I've seen some really good deals on some quality stuff.

Nice collection, Bruce! I wish I could get on with Techs as I love the way they look and they are extremely reasonably priced! Shy
