I’ve seen them mentioned several times in these threads but I’ve checked the men’s and women’s razor listings on their site and have never been able to find any specs listed (other than weight).

Great shave today in 3 passes with a second use Nacet. Cheeks and neck are silky smooth. A tiny little stubble along the jawline, but an absolutely easy shave.  I’d be interested to see if they make more efficient plates down the road considering they had a smaller gap one. I’m also thinking Astras were a better fit for the razor.

I thought I’d pushed too hard at times and given myself some burn, but checked a few times in the mirror today and there’s not a sign of irritation or burn.

Great to hear of all of your experiences so far!  We are working on an aggressive version.

I have the H&S P076 Ti for reference here, one of the narrowest heads I can think of and from the bottom of the safety bar to the top of the cap, the Henson is almost the same height. It should be quite maneuverable.

Wow! One would not assume by looking at it how narrow it is. Good catch. It certainly feels narrow in use.

I haven’t used mine in a week or so as I shave with my new wolfman, but am excited to hear your reports as well as get back to playing with it.

Side note: it supports the blade from the top almost to the edge, but the clamping happens back a little ways (think Blackbird, paradigm, RS10, Sailor, Yates and numerous others) finding the right balance seems to provide smoothness but efficiency.

Correct.  And excellent observations guys... The safety bar does not contact the blade and influence the rigidity.  The short distance of the clamp distance(the distance from the cutting portion of the blade to where the blade is clamped) has a lot of influence on this razor's rigidity.   As well, the free-end distance is extremely short.  Combine the tightly pressed blade into the rad of the top cap and you get (as I’ve experienced) the most chatter-free setup.  Here is a copy of what will ultimately be a part of the tech Info section on the website.

Rigidity of the blade

The design of the Henson Razor involves pressing the blade into a radius, bending the edges to achieve the 30° blade and shave angles, and introducing tension on the blade. In conjunction with short free-end and clamp distances, the result is an extraordinarily rigid blade edge. The free-end distance (① in Figure 3) is the distance from the tip of the blade to the first point of contact on the cap. The clamp distance (② in Figure 3) is the distance from the tip of the blade to where the top cap and base plate clamp the blade. As you can imagine, the longer either of these distances is the more flimsy and prone to chatter the blade is. Because of the Henson Razor’s rigid design, blade chatter and deflection are minimized when shaving, producing a more consistent and predictable shave that doesn't miss as many hairs. Additionally, the life of the blade may be higher.

This is an amazing razor especially given it awesome price point. I received my Azure the other day and the shave quality is fantastic. Smooth, efficient, and irritation free.

Breathing a sigh of relief over here as more reviews come in. Thought I was delusional for a bit.
