Henson AL13 DFS pass around

Razor arrived today. Will give it a spin tomorrow and post results.

The first shave with the AL13 was pretty nice. Paired it with a GSB and was rewarded with a nice shave. I did have issues with getting the trouble spots on my neck and chin area though. I have to say that I don't think I could cut myself if I tried with this razor it's that smooth and so little blade feel. I do wish it was just a tad more efficient/aggressive though. I'm going to pair it with a few different blades over the next week and then I'll report back with hopefully a more detailed observation.

Oasisdave, Dave you might want to turn the razor head open 1/4 way, or so to give it a bit more aggression for your shaves. It won't be a significant factor, but it may help get a closer shave. I do this with my medium version each time for my head shaves.

Had a couple of shaves with this and will use it once more.before.sending it back home next week. I was not super impressed on the first shave...Found it different in face feel....nkt aometgung I was used to, but it gave a very good shave at the end. I used a voshkod blade and then I read that I should try it with an Astra SP.

Second shave with the Astra was just fabulous. Very easy to use razor, excellent post shave feel with no irritation...and super clean results. This is a winner. I would gladly pick one up and use it for travel or on days I want a milder but super efficient shave.

I like it...Am done assessing it but want to shave one more time with it before I return it as I am already starting to miss it.
