Gents,

So I have been using the Hemingway Aftershave lately, and I really think it is top notch.  It’s great on my skin, and the fragrance is a refined, but adventurous sort of deal!

So I decided to find my old tub of the cream this morning, and do a test lather to see if I wanted to use it again.

The lathering was rushed since I had a little monster throwing his waffle and grapes on the floor, but it still came out GREAT!  I am certainly going to use this cream and aftershave for tomorrow’s shave!

The fragrance of the cream is quite refined and wonderful as well!

Agree with you Matt. I don't use many creams, but this is one I do keep around.

Hemingway has fantastic products, both in performance and smell. The aftershave balsalm (balm) is also superb... leaving your skin feeling like velvet.

I've got two jars of Hemingway cream, and two big bottles of the aftershave. Love this stuff.

I'm not sure why it's so expensive, though, as I get the same performance from Barberry Coast (from the same company), which is a lot cheaper. The Kingston scent from Barberry, like Hemingway's, is very nice.

Matt, have you used the Barberry Kingston shaving cream? If so, how does it compare to the Hemingway cream?

John,

Sorry, but I have only used the Havana Balm.  Actually, I will try to use that after my next shave!

The Kingston sounds great, and if anyone has used it, I would like to hear how it is as well.

John, hello! I use the Barberry Kingston shaving cream frequently, and find it equal to the Hemingway cream in both scent and performance. And a lot cheaper. When we can have coffee again, I'm happy to bring my tub for you to sniff. If you like it, you can have it. (I always scoop.)

Thanks, Scott, I appreciate that. I'll take you up on the sniffing at least, once our fair city is again 'open.' Maybe I'll have to pull my mask down off my nose to sniff it...
John
