Epoxy is a very strong adhesive. A tiny dab would be enough to hold a shaving brush knot in so I doubt you used too little. If it does come out you can just reglue it. Be sure to scrape any old dried up glue from the surfaces though.

Pics? The easy answer is sure, you can reglue. Rough up surfaces with sandpaper and get the brush back into service.

If it comes back out easily, redoing it is doable...

+1. The plugs at the bases of many knots are very slick; so there's little for an adhesive to grab onto. Roughing the base of the knot with some medium grit (~150-220) sandpaper will solve that problem. A small dab of slow curing epoxy will secure the knot 'til the end of time. Smile

As stated already, you should be fine. Even a drop of silicone is sufficient. If it falls out, sand and re-glue!
